I made it through the first week! phew. Long, long days at work. But --- I got promoted! I'm now an assistant manager, I'm ecstatic. My boss approached me after the first day of school (where I kicked ass on the line) and asked if I wanted to be a "black shirt" (our distinction between "green shirts.") • wrote up a draft for a proposal for an independent study
• emailed director to get study approved
• printed out and turned in my final copy of my thesis proposal
• turned in a "restricted registration" form for my fall thesis hours
• finalized my application for the professional writing certificate

I finished my last work shift for Spring! Ahhh, it was 11-7 and it was loooong. I did 37 hours this week, so tired and sore. Plus, every night this week I've been working on my two portfolios I have due Monday, plus trying to pack up my room bit by bit. I'm heading home for two weeks on Tuesday! Can't wait! So, back in Orlando. Moving in was a bitch - 4th floor up, in the rain, on 3 hours of sleep. Not good. The night before, Jenna and the regular crew and I went out to Tampa.
